Do not try to work with the kitchen design team unless you want to waste time and end up disappointed. Tried to place an order for a counter top on Monday, the staff said they had to call the distributor and would get back to us the same day with more info. Never heard back on Monday, waited until Wednesday and called back and they no longer had any of our info or order on file, spoke to a manager and he said he would look into it and call me right back, the manager never called back. I could back later Wednesday spoke to the same manager and he was irritated that I called back, he informed us to wait until Friday when the original customer service rep would be back and have info for us. Friday rolls around and Know call, I call them back and I am told that the size counter top is to small and they can not fill the order, I ask why they didn't just say this on Monday, we were told they didn't know this on Monday but tried to calls us on Wednesday but had a wrong contact number for us. I then told them that I had called multiple times on Wednesday and if you knew this why was I not told, they had no explanation for their failure. Multiple departments failed and gave us the run around, the store is generally under staffed and the staff is not knowledgeable they also don't seem to want to be at the store or even attempt to do their jobs. Total fail from managers down to low level employees, it will be a joy to slowly see the Lowe's company go under
You may be lucky to find 2 employees in the entire store. God forbid you need help or have a question. If you are super lucky to find an employee, either they don't know about the area you are in, OR you get serious attitude because you found 2 employees engaged in a chat and frankly, you're a bother. The entire store is silent like a morgue because of lack of customers. Their kitchen & design center is fully incompetent and after 2 hours with nothing actually ordered, we gave up. Why would you go at all? They do have some unique items like hemlock wood, and large selections of fasteners and screws. This store's regional manager & local manager should be replaced with people who can hire employees, train them, schedule them, and properly market the store. Great location to go meditate.
I went for black Friday, the store was severely understaffed and who was there was pretty grouchy about it. In midday on black Friday they had 2 cashier lines open and there were tons of people trying to check out... The employees actually told me to buy my stuff on Amazon because it's faster and cheaper since many items are not in stock.
I can't fault the employees at all for being frustrated, It's just sad that yet another company is being poorly managed and is losing ground to the online Market.
Never anyone in that store to help you, very frustrating. Last time I was there I stood in the paint department for 10 minutes, nothing but crickets. So I went across the street to Home Depot
Two stars should have been one but for the employees who are always great. This is a lumber yard with far too few carts. I had to drag 2 sheets of plywood to the register. Management apparently is aware of this issue but refuses to address it. Get it together people!
