The Officers of Arvada PD are some of the best people I know. They have always been professional, respectful and supportive. I thank them for all the fences they have sailed over, the tunnels they have gone through, the piles of paperwork they have completed, the numerous phone calls they have made, the miles they have driven, the resources they have provided, and all the time and energy they have invested to keep my family, our schools and our community safe. God Bless them all!!
Although I have received a couple of speeding tickets in the city of Arvada I have never had a bad experience with one of their police officers. They are always quick to respond helpful and easy to get back in contact with for any additional assistance you might need. I am proud of the Arvada Police Department for the job that they do in my community. Love the ladies and boys in blue.
Police forces VRI service for deaf when in accident, we requested certified person for deaf, I got the ticket instead, interpreter not able hear officer at scene of accident. Never really solved the issues. We chose the right service, they declined.we asked questions how pay for towing, one officer said in hand sign, " money", what kind of answer is that? I went home get my truck to tow it myself, they won't even let me, even I have tow lift on it, when I went get car from car pound, I had to pay $600 to get it out. They have no respect for deaf community, nor respect for Ada law to provide service WE REQUEST, THEY FORCES VRI FOR DEAF, ONE FAILED EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AS INTERPRETER CANNOT HEAR THE OFFICER. Never really heard our side of story and past when asked for interpreter, I get arrested, ticketed for bogus charges. I get pretty depressing suffering since 2001, my hearing aid broke in the accident. Can't hear a darn thing. Police constantly take advantage of deaf people when declined service.
Predators in our community not out to protect and serve, but to collect money from citizens to support their entity. Received a traffic ticket for a maneuver that I have witness numerous Arvada police vehicles do at the same intersection. Moved over to the right to make a right turn behind vehicles stopped at a light; ticketed for moving into the shoulder which I did not do. Just a day prior to this I was at the same intersection and moved over to allow room as I was the front vehicle and the Arvada cop who made the turn waved a thank you to me, he even moved onto the dirt to get by - they can do it but I get ticketed even though I was on the road. Officer N. Schettone #1309 unfortunately you have a badge, I know it makes you feel bigger and more powerful. No respect from me Arvada police as long as you have leeches like this in uniform.
An officer stated in ego pride, " we have lowest crime in Arvada" insulted me " you don't believe we have lowest crime?? " Looks another OFFICERS, " he doesn't believe we have lowest come in Arvada!".... Here's the thing, city of Arvada kept everything secret, king soopers closed their doors at midnight due to shop lifters average $500 per night, murder has taken place in Arvada was never reported, meth lab is all over Arvada, accident caused by meths, speeders we're biggest issues. Often, I sees officers chat in parking lots not doing their job, once seen couple male officers hide in kids safehouse at night doing gay thing. Here in Arvada, who does the crime?? Officers!! Witnessed one tried break into my house without a warrant for not paying the water bill, Don Wicks, police chief warned me will ticket me for lying, I told him straight out, I'm willing sign doc. Never happened. Crimes in Arvada is just equal everywhere else. We suffered years of torture from Arvada government.
